"Do you charge a flat rate or by the hour?"

Like most people, we hate surprises of the financial type. That is why we will always charge a flat rate for all of our services and provide a clear cost breakdown in your contract. You will know the total cost going in, no surprises. We base our rates on the industry standard. 

"When is payment due for services?"

For all projects, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee is due at the time of contract signing. The balance is due upon completion of deliverables. Also, we will gladly work with you on making payment arrangements that fit your budget!

 

Detailed invoices will be given at contract signing and upon completion of deliverables. 

 

Payments can be made via                                          , PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, or bank transfer.

"What is the average turnaround time for a project?"

Once we estimate the total number of hours needed to complete a project, we then run that time against what other projects we have in the queue, a 40-hour work week, and any upcoming holidays/conventions/etc to give you an accurate, estimated delivery date.

 

You will be provided with a delivery date at contract signing. We do accept rush projects on a case-by-case basis (2-week turnaround) for an additional fee.

"What software do you use for editing?"

  • Microsoft Word

"What style guide and dictionary do you use?"

Here are just some of the books in our arsenal:

  • The Chicago Manual of Style, 17th Edition

  • Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 11th Edition

  • Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of English Usage
